SF State is embracing new ways to address and repair systemic inequities and the interactional events of racist and sexist actions and micro-aggressions as well as other harms to faculty and staff. We seek a team to create restorative strategies that build healthy ways of talking about everyday conflicts such as misunderstandings, disagreements, microaggressions, conflicts of power in order to strengthen and repair relationships between campus faculty and staff. In what ways do you envision that restorative mechanisms could help build community and navigate disagreements and conflicts on campus, and how do you think the institution could play a role in these efforts moving forward?
